Artificial intelligence law (AI Act)
Risk classification of an AI system
The classification of an AI system determines the whole scope of obligations under the Regulation: prohibited practices are impermissible in all cases, high-risk systems are subject to risk management, technical documentation, human oversight and conformity assessment, and systems with limited or minimal risk mainly carry transparency obligations.
